The First 2 Days
PHASE 1 "HCG Sublingual Diet"
(21 day min. to 40 day max.)
During the first two days of the treatment you will begin the administration of HCG, adding 4 drops or 0.22 ml of the sublingual formula under the tongue.
It is necessary to administer the sublingual once in the morning, after brushing your teeth and at least ½ hour before you drink any liquids.
The sublingual doses will be administered again in the evening at least ½ hour after your evening meal. You will find that the sublingual has been formulated in such a way as to be absorbed under the tongue rather quickly usually within 5 minutes.
Now for the fun part! During the first two days of the hCG weight loss protocol diet it is extremely important to eat anything you want, especially foods that are high in fat.
Although you are allowed to eat anything you want, it is suggested to try and eat healthy fats such as avocados, nuts, olive oil, and good cuts of beef as opposed to a fast-food hamburger.
The HCG Diet Protocol from Day 3 to 21
The 500 calorie diet is administered the beginning of day 3 while continuing the Sublingual doses each morning and evening as before.
Most clients will be preparing their own food, but if not, it is most important that the person who will actually cook - the wife, the mother or the cooker, as the case may be, adhere to the following menu:
Breakfast:
Tea or coffee in any quantity without sugar. Only one tablespoon full of milk allowed in 24 hours. Any clear liquid without sugars, fats, or milk. Saccharin or Stevia may be used. Herbal teas and crystal lite can be used.
Lunch:
Choose one meat: 3 ½ oz. of chicken breast or tenders, 5 oz shrimp, 3 ½ oz. white fish (tilapia, cod, halibut, etc), 3 ½ oz. of flat iron steak, eye of round steak, top sirloin steak, mock tender steak, top round steak, bottom round roast, eye of round roast, 3 ½ oz. of turkey.
All visible fat must be carefully removed before cooking, and the meat must be weighed raw. It must be boiled, steamed, or grilled without additional fat. Season to taste.
Choose vegetables from the following (any as long as you don't exceed 500 calories - see the HCG Diet Recipes Book Menu):
spinach, chard, chicory, beet-greens, green salad, tomatoes, celery, fennel, onions, red radishes, cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, arugula, bok choy, brussel sprouts, capers, chicory, chives, endive, fennel, garlic, hearts of palm, Italian green beans, kale greens, leeks, mustard greens, okra, parsley, peppers (all varieties), sauerkraut, scallions, sea vegetables, snow peas, sprouts, turnip greens, watercress, winter squash, yellow squash, zucchini.
Between meals:
One breadstick (grissino) or one Melba toast (if desired).Fruits: Choose one from the following: 1 cup of any berry or mixed berries, 4 oz. of any of the following: fresh pineapple – about 2/3 cup, grapefruit – 1/2, cantaloupe – 1 cup, cherries – ½ cup, 1 small pear, 2 small or one large plum, 3 medium apricots, 1 medium apple, 1 medium orange, 1 medium peach.
Dinner:
The same four choices as lunch. However, do not repeat the same identical items in consecutive meals. For better hCG weight loss protocol results, keep a good rotation of items.
The juice of one lemon or lime daily is allowed for all purposes. Salt, pepper, vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, sweet basil, parsley, thyme, marjoram, etc., may be used for seasoning, but no oil, butter or dressing.
Fluids:
You should drink a minimum of 2 liters of the allowed fluids per day, and it is recommended to drink an additional 2 liters of water.
Many clients using this hCG weight loss protocol are afraid to drink so much because they fear that this may make them retain more water.
This is a wrong notion as the body is more inclined to store water when the intake falls below its normal requirements.
The fruit or the bread-stick may be eaten between meals instead of with lunch or dinner.
IMPORTANT FACTS to HCG Weight Loss Protocol:
Although there have been no indications that clients can become intolerant of the Sublingual solution, it is recommended that you do not go over 40 days (preferably 30 days max) on the 500 calorie diet before going on to the maintenance phase.
If you need to lose additional weight it is completely acceptable to begin another diet phase after the 21 day maintenance. Many clients will complete several diet phases before reaching their final weight-loss goal.
Remember to weigh yourself each morning at the same time, without clothes, and to log in your results.
Record what you are eating for each meal and calculate the caloric value to make sure you are staying within the allowed 500 calories.
You may notice that the first several days of the hCG weight loss protocol diet you may tend to lose several pounds and that this amount begins to taper off to 1 pound, or less, per day.
This is normal, especially for men. Women are usually more irregular in their weight loss, often not affecting any loss for 2 or 3 days, and then a sudden loss which reestablishes the normal average.
These fluctuations are due to variations in the retention and elimination of water which is more apparent in women than in men.
Abnormal Faty Cells Breakdown:
Remember that the body must break down the cellular structure and absorb it, including useless cells, connective tissue, blood vessels, etc., that lag behind in the process of loosing fat.
When this happens, the body may replace lost fat temporarily with water which is then eliminated in subsequent days.
It is also important to note that while on this hCG weight loss protocol everyone experiences at some point a "plateau" that can last up to 6 days.
These plateaus can also be caused by menstrual cycles, reaching a former weight that was maintained for a long period of time, and dietary errors, but these will correct themselves as you continue the diet protocol.
Reaching a plateau does not mean that you are not responding to the diet, but it is possible to shorten the time of the plateau by having an "apple day".
On this day you continue the HCG Sublingual diet while eating nothing but 6 large apples throughout the day. No additional liquids are taken on an apple day.
The apples will cause the held-up water to be eliminated and thus show a drop of weight in the process.
You should not regain any of the water weight when you resume the 500 calorie diet the following day.
Concluding a HCG Obesity Protocol Diet Phase
A successful hCG weight loss protocol diet phase will be a minimum of 21 and a maximum of 40 days.
Whatever the length of your diet phase you must discontinue the use of the Sublingual serum and continue the diet for another three days after which time you have successfully reprogrammed your hypothalamus.
You will then enter the 21 day HCG weight loss protocol maintenance phase designed to keeping your weight off.
Maintenance Phase (21 day minimum)
It will take about 3 weeks before the weight reached at the end of the diet phase becomes stable, i.e. does not show violent fluctuations after an occasional excess.
During this time you need to realize that carbohydrates (sugars, rice, bread, potatoes, pastries, etc.) are still dangerous to your success.
You can eat anything you desire however, as long as you do not gain more than 2 pounds in a single day. You will be able to consume more fats if you stay away from the high carbohydrate laden foods.
You must weigh yourself faithfully each day as you did while on the diet phase. You will soon discover what your new caloric intake level is and how to maintain it by eating the correct foods.
Normal daily caloric intake for women is between 1600 to 2200 calories a day, and between 2200 and 2800 for a man.
As long as your weight stays within 2 pounds of the weight reached on the day of the last HCG application, you are on the right track.
You should not be losing additional weight during your hCG weight loss protocol maintenance phase.
If you should gain more than 2 pounds as you weigh yourself in the morning, you will need to follow these instructions.
On that same day, you must entirely skip breakfast and lunch (but continue to drink plenty of fluids). In the evening you will eat one large steak with only an apple or a raw tomato.
If this is followed strictly this will bring about a loss of weight the following morning to get you back on track. If you are not able to follow this rule you will pay the price of a strict diet to correct the situation.
At the end of the hCG weight loss protocol maintenance phase most clients will not experience weight gain even after consuming a heavy dinner.
Your eating habits will be sufficiently modified to where you crave good foods in their proper quantities. You will be satisfied with much less food than before. This is the miracle of the amazing results to the HCG weight loss protocol!
Of course, if you turn to riotous eating habits you will eventually shock your hypothalamus into changing your newly defined set point, and you will start to gain weight once again. Don't do it!
